Budget weeks 27 & 28

Forgot to do this last week!  I’m just going to lump these two together.  We spent $178, which I think is pretty good?!  $89 per week.  I have been trying not to buy pantry items so that helps.  We also went camping and took meat from our freezer, and I haven’t bought any meat except lunch meat since we are getting our CSA this weekend.  Here’s what we bought:

PRODUCE

  • Avocados $6.68
  • Bananas $6.84

  • Coffee $13.79
  • Chicken stock $3.98
  • Flour $2.79

I’m not exactly sure what the junk food stuff was?  I think K stopped one night at Papa Murphy’s for dinner but they were closed, so we ended up with frozen macaroni and cheese and tater tots.  Not our best moment 😆  Anyway!  We’ve only been to the store once this week since we’ve been back from camping, and I plan to continue to use up pantry stuff and try to go to the store as little as possible.  I’m hoping for another good week!
