Is this thing on?

I'm a very bad blogger, I know.  It's not that I don't have things to share with you, I don't know what's wrong with me.  I seem to have gotten sick again, which doesn't help anything.  I've got things sitting around that are done and ready to show off, like my Third Wave HarfVersatility, and even just some plain old fiber porn that's been waiting patiently in the wings.  Soon enough.

So since I have nothing else at the moment I'll just share pictures of our getaway last weekend.  (Go check my Flickr set for more)  We spent most of our time in Zion National Park which was fantastic.  It had been so long since I had been there, like over 10 years so it was really cool to go back.  It was the perfect weather and timing, being late fall, with all of the leaves changing colors and falling.  The Kiddo (I'm changing her blog name again) was really great too, she hiked with us for about an hour and a half and even had a good time!  I'm thinking this might end up to be a tradition for us, leaving the city after the first snow to go south.  Next time we might even skip St. George altogether!

  1. I love it there! We’ve been going in February, when 50s seem really warm, but November sounds like a great time, too.

  2. Very pretty! I did a trip to Southern Utah once in either late November or early December (I forget)… sadly, almost every place we went was socked in with thick fog. I was so disappointed when we got to Monument Valley (my only visit there), and we couldn’t see anything. Looks like you had fantastic weather, though!
